I think food is my most favorite tradition, I cook a traditional Thanksgiving feast on Christmas day….yep, turkey, dressing, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce (homemade) and all of the trimmings. (Someone else does the Thanksgiving meal for our family). This allows me to cook things the way I like them.

It would not be truthful to forget to mention all the food, the ham my sister makes and the pumpkin pie and pecan pie I make! 😋

We’ve been creating new traditions now that we have our own family and live in a new state. One new favorite is a mini trip just us (me, husband, daughter).

Aww I love that new tradition! My husband, son and I like to take mini trips too. Sometimes in lieu of birthday or anniversary presents, etc. The memories are priceless.

I have loved Christmas music since I was a child, and I have collected many Christmas albums over the years. I play Christmas music starting the day after Thanksgiving until Three Kings Day, January 6.

My favorite part of Christmas celebrations are the ones that honor Christ. Like the Christmas Eve Candlelight Service.

Yes, I love those celebrations too. I love going to the live nativity that a local church does and the candlelight Christmas Eve service.

We usually watch “A Muppet Christmas Carol” in august. We didn’t this year. So sad! It is the best retelling of “A Christmas Carol” I’ve ever seen!

The older I get the more family members are passing away. Christmas is going to be tough this year. However my favorite things are baking my Christmas cookies for my family and friends who absolutely love them. And the Christmas music.. the hymns and the songs on the Christian radio stations. We are hoping my parents will be coming for Christmas too ❤️

This Louisiana native enjoys hearing her husband read The Cajun Night Before Christmas! But also, giving presents, reminiscing through my ornament list – when, where, and from whom we received it… but ultimately attending Christmas Eve service at church!

Christmas is my absolute favorite time of the year amd I love everything about it. My favorite tradition is putting our tree up. I do it the same way my mom did and it takes me back to memories of her and some of the good from my childhood. It brings pure joy to my heart in seeing my children the way I feel my momma saw my siblings and I. Their eyes just light up and sparkle right along with the lights on the tree amd we reminisce over the ornaments we’ve collected through the years.
