Morgan Tarpley Smith is an award-winning newspaper reporter and photographer based in Louisiana. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and has worked as a professional journalist for over fifteen years, with experience crafting a variety of news and feature stories as well as editing and proofreading services. She writes blog posts about travel, writing, and books.

She is also an author of children’s fiction under M.L. Tarpley and an author of inspirational fiction that transports readers to faraway places and weaves past and present to explore questions of truth and faith. Her travels to over a dozen countries, her faith in Christ, and love of history fuel the inspiration behind her stories. She resides in Louisiana with her husband and son.
